I work with healthcare professionals, healthcare leaders, and individuals with multicultural identities to find clarity, courage, and balance—without losing what matters most.
Hi! I'm Vera Malkhasyan - a leadership and executive coach with a background in health systems, strategic consulting, and large-scale operations. After two decades in U.S. and global healthcare, I realized my deepest work wasn’t only about improving systems - it was about supporting the people leading them.
Today, I help thoughtful, high-performing professionals pause, recalibrate, and reconnect with their strengths so they can lead with clarity, confidence, and intention - especially during seasons of growth, transition, or burnout.
I work primarily with healthcare leaders and foreign-trained medical professionals navigating complex careers and significant responsibility. Many are deeply capable - and quietly self-critical.
Through reflective partnership, neuroscience-informed tools, and consistent accountability, I support them in building resilience, honoring their unique identity, and moving forward with a stronger sense of agency in both their leadership and their lives.
“I’m so glad I met you, Vera. At such an important stage of my career, it made all the difference to have a true professional by my side. You understood my mindset and background in a way no one else could, and you helped me uncover my strengths and shape them into a confident, authentic story. Vera, you truly are a fairy.”
— Olga V, MD
My coaching integrates neuroscience, Positive Intelligence®, and advanced Ericksonian solution-focused methods. It’s grounded in curiosity, clarity, and respect — and guided by the ethical standards of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
I’ve spent more than twenty years in healthcare — leading, mentoring, and consulting — and those experiences taught me that sustainable change rarely happens through pressure. It happens through awareness, ownership, and small shifts in perspective that create real movement.
Whether I’m working one-on-one or facilitating group learning through the Xchange Approach and Appreciative Inquiry, my focus is always the same: to create space where people think more clearly, feel more connected, and see new possibilities for themselves and their work.

I Work with Individuals and Teams
I support individuals in their career pivots, resilience, and growth as authentic leaders.
This program enhances your performance, well-being, and relationships over seven weeks through personalized daily practices that foster powerful new habits for a positive mind.
I design and facilitate group learning experiences and strategic planning sessions for teams. My workshops focus on resilience, emotional intelligence, and authentic leadership—creating spaces where teams connect, engage, and grow together.
Leaders and professionals who appear strong and successful on the outside but quietly struggle to feel fulfilled — those who have learned to achieve, perform, and endure, yet rarely feel at peace inside.
Healthcare professionals and leaders who give their best to others but are running on empty themselves, unsure how to slow down without losing their edge.
International and multicultural professionals navigating identity, belonging, and the constant need to prove their worth in new systems or cultures.
High-achievers and working parents who manage careers, families, and high expectations — outwardly successful but inwardly exhausted, craving presence, ease, and the ability to enjoy what they’ve built.
I enjoy the format of these education sessions. Starting out with thoughtful reflection and provoking questions helps me see where I am at baseline. The educational principles are summarized clearly in an actionable format (supported by studies or a resource to dig in deeper) and helps me see a path to improvement by implementing the principle discussed.
— Yale New Haven Health System Team Leader
I have really enjoyed the topics and learning experience. I look forward to the sessions and leave with new thoughts and ideas on how to continue to develop as a leader. The topics are thought provoking and align well with my personal goals. It is hard to devote time to researching and developing in these areas but prioritizing attending these sessions has helped! Vera does such a fantastic job leading the discussion through well curated content including videos, small group discussion, and collaboration. Thank you, Vera!
